Day 3

So I was thinking…most of the time, day three of the new year is the day we end up breaking all those resolutions we made to ourself.  Yep, it’s on that third day that we are so disappointed with ourselves for not keeping the promised we made on Day 1.  I guess we have a lot of reason to hate Day 3.

But as a Christian, Day 3 is a good thing.  It was on the third day that Christ rose from the grave!  I guess in a way, Jesus’ rising from the dead forever changed how we should look at Day 3.  And maybe everything else in life, too.

Therefore, I am now, and forever more, establishing DAY 3 as a day of hope and promise…not a day of disappointment!!!

  1. I Like it…day 3 it is and what a wonderful day…we need to constantly remind ourselves daily of what Jesus did for “whosoeverwill” that me and you..and perhaps we fast on the 3rd of each month for as an extra rememberance…hummm that will be hard for me but I proclaim if Jesus reminds me…hummmI will do just that…maybe you should write more often…seems to be a gift you have my friend…think about it…take care Melvin
