A Day in the Life
Here’s some fun video from a Wednesday before Christmas. Â Pure fun. Â (Are Christians allowed to have fun?)

Here’s some fun video from a Wednesday before Christmas. Â Pure fun. Â (Are Christians allowed to have fun?)
Well, the holidays were a blast. Â Christmas demands our awe, but when you have children in the house, well, I’m sure you understand. Â
Along with the holiday glee, I also got the holiday blues. Â That’s right…the stomach virus! Â I don’t know about you, but when I lay in bed sick my thoughts usually center around the following:
“Dear Lord, please don’t let me die, yet!”
Oh well, who said that being a pastor meant you were ready to die. Â Personally, I’ve got a few more goals to accomplish, like RVing around this beautiful country of ours.
Happy New Years, everybody! Â I’m back in the saddle. Â I hope you are too.
Want to make a big difference this Christmas? Â For $20 you can feed a Honduran family for 2 weeks! Â TWO WEEKS!!! Â The next time you go out to eat dinner at that fancy fast food place, just think about one meal verses two weeks.
Here’s how it works. Â You give the money. Â (You feel blessed.) Â Our church buys the food from a local Honduran grocery story. Â (That helps the local economy.) Â The youth of FBC pass out all the food bags while in Honduras on their mission trip. Â (That teaches missions.) Â Local Honduran families get food for 2 weeks. Â (That’s fills their belly.)
Make a difference this Christmas. Â Give the gift of food.

When I was a kid, I was the guy picked last for kickball. Looking back, it wasn’t really that big of a deal. Back then, it was the end of the world! Everybody wants to be liked and accepted. It’s who we are. It’s how God made us.
We’re simply built for relationships. In fact, the entire concept of the church is relationships! Have you ever thought that we are “more” together than we are apart? I’ve known many isolationist Christians who resist the fellowship of a local church. Â Their just as smart biblically. Â They can even give financially to special causes. Â But without the fellowship of a local church they can’t reach their full potential. Â
It’s not that the church needs you…you need the church. Â As someone wiser than myself once said, “The sum is greater than the parts.” Think of it this way: 2+2=4 except in relationships. Â In relationships 2+2=5. I know it doesn’t make sense, but it’s true. Â If you don’t believe me, get involved in church and you’ll see for yourself. Â God made you to live in relationship with others.
So, welcome to the team!
